Been here twice. Both times service was good. Great bakery items and the ambience is cool and super cosy. Parking is easy. It's not very crowded.
I had a small cappuccino and a slice of carrot cake. 11.5$! What!? The carrot cake was basically sugar and impossible to finish, as for the cappuccino it didn't taste good, I'm even wondering if they didn't put sugar in it without asking because it had a weird sweet taste to it. The inside is absolutely filthy, dark and the furniture in poor condition. In a nutshell, bad coffee and pastries, extremely expensive...
Friendly people, great service and would suggest to others for a meet up and chat place. Great seating and relaxing environment.
Should try cookies. Cozy place.😍 friendly baristas.
Love. The clerk works while singing a song.
Cozy little coffee shop in Leslieville. A little pricey but worth it.
Lovely adult coffee shop, unlike Starbucks and some of the local kid friendly cafes near me. Great pastries and drinks.
My favourite café in Leslieville, period. Full stop. This place is so incredibly COZY, its staff SO friendly, and their food and drinks are just fantastic. Their cookies are so delicious (peanut butter yummm), and their large drinks are HUGE and great value for your money. I can't rave about this place enough (but I also don't want everyone going here at once because I want to be able to melt into one of the comfy armchairs on my Sunday coffee break visits!)
Omg ! Love this coffee shop! Right in my neighbourhood, open late hours which is awesome. The interior is amazing... rustic/vintage vibes. Although it is small and a tight place, there were seats. The dessert was amazing! My first time trying a Nanaimo bar which was soooooo good. ( didn’t know what it was before ) lots of drinks and snacks. Just amazing !!!!!
Good ,old looking place to seat and enjoy your coffee. We had a London Fog green tea and mocha, Almond Crossan .But,I saw they are serving a very nice looking egg sandwich for others, next time I will try it.
Cozy cafe popular with the locals. Gets a bit busy on Tuesday afternoon
I used to come here for Java, conversations, homework, and small meetings. I miss it because I no longer live in the neighbourhood. The atmosphere including the music was always spot on. The staff, friendly and talkative. More so than a typical customer service interaction. There are genuinely nice people who work here and it welcomes genuinely nice people to join in company. One day I’ll return for that six am coffee I used to crave so much before an early shift.
The service was fantastic. Katy was amazing! So much so that I thought she was the owner of the place. Very cool and hip vibe to the place.
I've been going here for at least 15 years now. The service is consistently excellent. The food and coffee are very good and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I'm not personally a fan of thrift-shop chic but I really like the patio out back.
I love coming here to study! Great prices, friendly staff, very chill place.
Awesome coffee, free wifi and great options for Vegans!
A very chill, cozy, warm atmosphere and good espresso. You walk into a unique place where all the furniture has a story of its own, and the people are no different. There's life on the walls, and their apple turnovers are some of the best in the city. Open when every other coffee shop isn't, and I'm glad for it. Good place to read a book, rest, or work for a while. Their staff are also always very sweet and kind. It's a unique and worthwhile place.
Great vibes and service, got a taste of the oat milk before ordering it, steamed. Lots of baked goods, a bit on the pricier side but might be worth it (quality over quantity)!
Every seat 💺 in the coffee ☕️ house is a comfy one! And they have an amazing Elektra coffee maker!
Coffee is expensive. And a terrible place to get any sort of reading or work done. The tables fit your laptop and that's about it. Very tight space so you risk someone knocking your table and spilling your coffee. Barista is very loud as well as everyone else in here.
It's cozy, kind of dark for work on laptop or study, but nice for dates and hanging out with friends. I liked coffee there and also Macha latte. Baristas are friendly.
The cappuccino was weak. Normally a good cup of coffee but if this is the future, I will find another place.
Nice cafe. When it comes to the service, decorations, food, and drinks, there is nothing I can complain about. But, some of the costumers are a bit shady and can make you feel uncomfortable. They talk loudly and don't respect the fact that it is a shared space, where many people are studying/working. I suppose one can blame the location of the cafe for the type of people that frequent it... Maybe I just came on a bad day.
Great shop. Amazing atmosphere.
Interesting coffee taste in a European style place. I generally don't drink acidic coffee but this place's coffee was great with heavy body.
While there is plenty of tables and chairs, most of them are quite uncomfortable. I had a hard time fitting even my legs under the table, so I switched tables to one with a higher back chair that ended up being very worn out. I was impressed by their coffee and food selection, although next time I will order it to go.
I like this place so much! I have visited here both daytime and night, and they have each unique attraction. At daytime, the table near the big window, I could see the lovely picture which there were cloud looks like a cotton candy with branches if I got here in the genial weather. At night, many soft light, lamps, pictures and sculptures makes me enjoy this atmosphere and night although I didn't realize cozy feeling. In my opinion, I love this place at night more. But it doesn't mean daytime is not good.
Most calm and decent coffee shop in the neighborhood
Although the place is extremely cozy and charming, the barista was quite loud consistently throughout interacting with guests.. it kinda killed the vibe. Nothing against the person and her amazing enthusiasm, just perhaps more suited to a bar or a club environment. We would have spent more than 20 mins otherwise. The beverages were pretty decent.
Super cute little coffee bar. Their cappuccino is creamy and super smooth.
Nice unique coffee shop good baked goods and a nice outback patio place with lots of trees and squirrels
Hidden gem but the chairs are old an in desperate need of upholstery. Good coffee and nice staff. definitely you see more of a neighborhood crowd.
Coziest coffee shop anywhere. Awesome coffee and treats too.
You can't do no wrong when your coffee shop is called Tango Palace. I love this place. It's very cute, staff and space included. Really great space, great windows, great decor. Hot Chocolate was pleasant. Enjoyed the small neighborhood atmosphere, a pleasant surprise for Leslieville.
My favourite café place in the Leslieville area! My 5 reasons for 5 stars:1. the service is excellent with friedly baristas2. the coffee, mocha, tea or whatever you choose is great and tasty3. yummy! They have some delicious snacks, the lemon pie is superb4. the place is so cozy, nice furniture and decoration - accompanied by good background music - and the internet works perfectly 5. affordable prices
Neighborhood staple. So happy I live nearby, this place has great coffee, good people and staff, awesome treats.
Beautiful cafe! The decor and furniture are lovely and cozy. Coffee is great too!
I absolutely love this cafe! The hot chocolate and banana bread is always delicious. And the staff are super nice and easy to get along with.
Cute little place with amazing ambience and amazing patio.. high quality hot and cold drinks.. cold pressed juice.. and super friendly, non-pretentious staff
Home like feel. This place not only has wonderful coffee and treats but the service and atmosphere is out of this world. The little back patio area melts my heart with its twinkle lights.Perfect evening spot.
Great ambiance for finishing up some work or studying. Coffee and whatnot is good and at a price you would expect for the area (2 bucks for a medium coffee, 4 for a medium cappuccino). baked goods taste great
I'm diabetic and Celiac, and they were so accommodating and friendly. The food was very good too!!
Cozy coffee shop. Very busy. Little beat overpriced. There is some table next to the windows good for people watching.Good coffee and delicious cookies. They don't have entrance for the wheelchair and also it is not easy for parking. Busy Queen street East. Mostly local crowd all ages. They have good croissants. On the wall are art for sale with reasonable price. I am not sure who is the artist.
What an eclectic place. The decor is all over the place. They’re open very late. It’s always packed. The drinks are superb and there are many choices of teas. The service is fast and friendly, but there is one barista that can’t seem to control the volume of her voice and says everything loudly, like she’s intentionally projecting so everyone can hear.
Excellent and busy little cafe. Awesome warm beverages and treats.
Tasty desserts. Had a coconut and raisin cookie, and a cappuccino. it was delicious. Nice atmosphere, plenty of seating with some sofas, and a patio or "garden" in the back also with seating. Excellent service quick and courteous.
Came here to pickup coffee and breakfast for my mom. Found it a little over priced but the inside of the place is pretty cute. Coffee was okay.
Amazing service and great seating. The park nearby is also a good addition.
Awesome place. They pay for the music they play on the speakers through Socan. Great coffee and vibe too.
The quintessential neighborhood café. Good coffee, good food, friendly barista who remembers you, and a very relaxed and cozy atmosphere.
